Our Story
Adam Nguyen and Jake Mundt founded eBrevia in 2011 to solve a persistent challenge in mergers and acquisitions. Both clients and lawyers shared a common goal: reducing the costs associated with due diligence document reviews.
While artificial intelligence was just emerging in the legal industry, Adam and Jake recognized its transformative potential for transactional law. They set out to develop technology in partnership with Columbia University that not only would reduce costs to the client but also free attorneys to focus on higher-value work.
Today, eBrevia delivers AI refined over a decade of real-world legal and finance applications. Our platform provides the best-in-class contracting solutions that have earned the trust and continued loyalty of our clients.
Exacting standards and robust engineering have been core to eBrevia’s identity from the start.

Meet Adam,
Co-founder & CEO
As eBrevia’s co-founder and former President, Adam Nguyen championed legal tech innovation from the company’s 2011 inception through its successful acquisition by Donnelley Financial Solutions, where he expanded the brand’s global footprint across Asia and Europe. Motivated by inefficiencies he experienced while practicing at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, Adam established eBrevia with a mission to transform legal document analysis. In December 2023, Adam reacquired eBrevia from DFIN, to accelerate innovation and enhance the company’s AI capabilities. Adam is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School.
