A Fresh Take on Legal Tech Networking: eBrevia’s Olive Oil Tasting Experience

Thursday night, eBrevia’s EMEA team had the pleasure of hosting lawyers, business professionals, journalists, clients and partners, for an evening of legal tech networking paired with an olive oil tasting experience. The event brought together a dynamic group for thoughtful conversation and shared discovery at a historical venue, London’s In and Out club.

From the outset, the atmosphere reflected what we aim to cultivate at every eBrevia gathering: a sense of energy, openness, and genuine welcome. Attendees remarked on the warmth of the environment and the ease with which conversations unfolded. We loved that too, and believe that meaningful dialogue is foundational to lasting professional relationships.

As guests explored various olive oil flavor profiles, conversations moved quickly into substantive topics, including the application of AI in legal services and the challenges faced by legal teams around adoption, efficiency and cost savings when it comes to contract work at scale.

eBrevia’s Co-Founder and CEO, Adam Nguyen, joined from the U.S. after having spoken at Future Lawyer UK last week.

“'In a fast-paced industry, it’s so valuable to connect in-person, face-to-face, with clients and peers. At eBrevia, we work in close partnership with customers, getting out new product capabilities ever couple of weeks, but, of course, much of that work happens remotely. Relaxing and chatting with everyone at the tasting provided great insights. And it was fun! Definitely a welcome reminder of why I appreciate the smart, engaged people in this business,” he said.

One attendee, Lucy Alexander, Legal Director at F1F9, captured the spirit of the evening in her reflections:

“It was super interesting hearing more about eBrevia’s journey, from its early days to where it is now. It was a good reminder that behind every ‘AI solution’ is a lot of iteration, repositioning, and persistence.

It’s easy to underestimate how much the format of an event shapes the quality of conversation.

This one got it right.

Less panels. More olive oil please!”

At eBrevia, we believe that connection drives innovation. Our goal is to bring people together not only to share ideas, but to learn from one another, transforming individual challenges into collective insight. Events like this demonstrate the value of that approach, as attendees leave with new perspectives, practical knowledge, and strengthened professional networks.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to such a thoughtful and engaging evening. If you missed it, we are hosting a flower arranging workshop with delicious Nordic treats in New York next week!
